IP.Content Databases are a great way of adding powerful data-driven capabilities to your website.

IP.Content databases shield you from the complexity of traditional database management systems and let you get on with managing your data. Wherever you need to store records in some form, an IP.Content database can do the hard work for you, simplifying tasks such as fetching records, versioning, categorization, permission-based access and more.
IP.Content databases support several different template types for each aspect of your database output. Your databases needn't be dull tables of data; each database template can be customized so that it presents content in an optimum format. As with other IP.Content templates, database templates can use the full array of IP.Board template capabilities, including "HTML logic" tags, PHP and special template tags - as well as IP.Content blocks.
As you'd expect, IP.Content databases integrate fully with the IP.Board permissions system, giving you fine control over access. As well as global database permissions, you can also fine-tune access at category-level. There's also full moderation abilities, allowing records to be hidden from public view until approved by a moderator.
IP.Content databases support record versioning, allowing you to quickly revert any changes that are deemed to be incorrect.
