Feed blocks are one of the unique killer features of IP.Content. They can grab all kinds of data directly from your community, including topics, member profiles & statistics, articles, blog entries, gallery images, RSS feeds and much more. Then, edit the block template, and display the content on your IP.Content website with ease. Feeds are completely configurable, so you can extract precisely the data you need: pull member profiles with a certain post count, find posts above a certain rating or perhaps return only pinned topics. IP.Content Feed Blocks makes all these decisions easy to implement!
Plugin blocks are a way of adding neatly contained, ready-made blocks of functionality to your IP.Content website. Show a member's "online friends" list, or members who are currently active in your community, or an overview of the content the member is "watching" (subscribed to). We ship a number of useful plugin blocks with IP.Content ready for you to use immediately, or you can download other blocks made by other people - or even write your own.
Custom blocks are a blank canvas, enabling you to create content that can be easily reused in any number of places. Use them for your advertising banners, build a menu system, combine other blocks to build a sidebar, or if you're a developer, use them as a convenient way of storing variables which can be used in pages, other blocks and templates.
