The IPS Community Suite has built-in first-rate support for Sphinx, a leading open-source search server, allowing your community to vastly improve search performance, relevance and accuracy compared to the standard MySQL search.

We use leading web technologies as a foundation for our suite: PHP, MySQL, PrototypeJS, Minify, reCaptcha, CKEditor & Sphinx. We support both *nix and Windows web servers, too.
Boost performance with caching
We have built-in support for multiple caching technologies, boosting performance for larger communities. We support Memcache, APC, XCache and eAccelerator out of the box.
Reliable email sending with Mandrill
Send emails to your members more reliably with our Mandrill by MailChimp integration. Track clicks and opens and review full statistics. Mandrill offers 12,000 emails/month for free.
Built in CDN support
Offload HTTP requests for static resources with built-in support for the upcoming IPS CDN service, plus third-party CDN services. Simple to set up, simply enter the CDN URL in your AdminCP, and the suite does the rest.
Single sign-on
Integrate existing users more easily using the IPS Community Suite single sign-on tools. By default, we include support for signing in via social networks (Facebook & Twitter), and Microsoft's Windows Live system. For businesses, we also support LDAP out of the box, enabling existing user directories to be integrated with our suite. The suite also supports custom authentication modules, enabling any user system to be integrated.
