The IPS Community Suite makes content and user moderation as smooth as possible, allowing your staff to keep a handle on troublemakers and spend more time dedicated to growing the community.
Many moderation tasks throughout the community can be carried out in a central Moderator Control Panel, making it simple for staff to take care of the various necessary tasks. Content that users have reported as offensive, new content that is awaiting approval and deleted content can all be managed directly from the ModeratorCP. Plus, view and manage users who have had action taken against them - whether banned, queued, or suspended.
One-click spam cleanup
Spam is an unfortunate reality on the modern web. If spam should make it past our Spam Monitoring Service, clean-up is simple. A single click marks the user as a spammer (and reports it back to us so that all communities can benefit), bans them, and deletes all content they've managed to post. One click, and staff can get on with better things.
Comprehensive user warnings
When users cause trouble, moderators can turn to the user warnings system to issue and track punishments.
Issue points for rule-breaking
Points can be issued for certain types of behavior. Admins can define a number of points for each type of infraction, or let moderators make the judgement.
Automatic actions against troublemakers
When certain thresholds are reached, punishments such as content pre-approval, suspension or even banning can be automatically issued.
User notifications & acknowledgements
And users are notified of their punishment via the community-wide notifications system and can optionally be required to acknowledge punishments too.

Whether you want to take a hands-off approach and deal with problems reactively, or avoid problems in the first place by proactively screening new content and members before they show up on the site, the suite facilitates it and ensures your staff have the tools they need to keep the community running smoothly.
Global & content moderators
The IPS Community Suite has two types of moderator: super moderators, who have moderation powers throughout the community, and content moderators, assigned to individual areas (such as a forum).
All moderator actions within the IPS Community Suite are logged, so that every action can be traced when necessary by administrators.
