Enterprise level offerings fall into three categories: managed service, licensed applications, private extranet.
Managed Service
Enterprise level managed services for your community are availabled as a turn-key solution to meet the needs of large scale community deployment. Communites under the scheme can consist of, for example, multiple and unique configurations or large community configuration. The managed services model allows for your community to be hosted at the IPS datacenter in the Washington DC metro area. Our staff manages all aspects of your community from the server hardware to deployment to the public. Included in the service are all levels of management including items such as: matching branding to your corporate feel, ensuring visitors do not know they have left your web site, optional integration with your existing authentication system (LDAP, web service, etc.), customising software features to suit your requirements, and any other possible needs you may require to ensure a prosperous user community.
Licensed Application
The licensed application option allows you to license our standard retail software under an enterprise level support and services arrangement. Our staff will work with your requirements to customize the software feature set to meet your needs through the addition of custom code and componenets. Enterprise license holders receive an account contact at IPS in the development department allowing your technical staff to speak directly to our development team whenever an issue may arise. With the addition of a private telephone line available 24 hours a day, your technical staff will have anytime access to our technical resources. To ensure the stability of our enterprise clients, your account contact will work with your technical team whenever an update to our software is available. We offer upgrades to enterprise customers directly before they are offered for download to our retail customer base. By offering updates before they are made public it is our goal to ensure the security and peace of mind to our highly visible customers.
Private Extranet
The private extranet option is a version of our managed service offering outlined above. The private extranet option is not a public-facing community but is only for the internal use of your employees. The extranet can be used for remote employee interaction, file distribution, knowledge base development, and more. Community software by its very nature is design to allow people to interact in an efficient manner. You can leverage this strength to offer a complete employee contact solution at a fraction of the cost of many task-specific options available.Contact IPS for Information
