Since IP.Nexus is part of the IPS Community Suite, it inherits the powerful permissions system. This means you can restrict package availability to certain usergroups - great for offering special packages to premium users. You can even require that certain packages are purchased before others become available to buy.
Automatic subscription handling to upsell access
Subscriptions make it possible for you to offer premium features to paying users, like access to new forums in IP.Board, access to a subscriber chatroom with IP.Chat, or more upload space across the community. When a subscription is purchased, the user's group is automatically upgraded. And when it expires, they're automatically returned to the group they were previously in. It's all automatic and handled for you!

Built-in advertising capabilities
IP.Nexus expands on the simple advertising capabilities in IPS Community Suite, providing a more robust system that even allows users to buy advertising space in the community. Packages can be offered that sell an ad slot by length of time or number of clicks, which users buy just like any other product. Their ad then enters the automatic rotation until expiration. Self-service advertising is a great way of supporting a community!
Advanced hosting integration with CPanel/WHM & eNom
IP.Nexus includes support for selling hosting packages via integration with CPanel & WHM. Package allowances are created in IP.Nexus, and automatically synced with your servers, while customers are automatically assigned to servers based on rules you define. IP.Nexus can automatically suspend or terminate accounts upon non-payment of an invoice. There's also eNom integration allowing you to sell domain names.
Whether you choose to self-host your community or opt for one of our Hosted Community packages, there's no limits on the number of products you can sell. Whether you plan to sell just a few items, or an entire catalog, IP.Nexus supports it. And the only transaction fees you'll pay are between you and the payment handler you select - there's no additional transaction fees to pay.

Departments in IP.Nexus help organize incoming support requests. Departments can be tied to packages you choose for logical routing, and you can create internal departments for managing requests. Each department can be associated with an email address, making it convenient for users to directly email their support issues to you while still facilitating tracking and response via IP.Nexus.
IP.Nexus makes efficient request handling easier
IP.Nexus includes a number of features that help staff more efficently handle incoming support requests. When new requests are received, all staff members belonging to that department can optionally be notified - useful for departments for emergency issues. Issues that are deemed to be overdue a response (based on settings) get extra prominence on the ticket listing screen. Plus, tickets can be assigned directly to an individual staff member.
Stock actions reduce repetitive ticket actions
On a busy support desk, staff frequently have to perform the same actions on many tickets - perhaps assign the ticket to a new department, reply to let the customer know, then add a staff note. Stock actions in IP.Nexus reduce repetition by allowing staff to create one-click macros that apply actions to a ticket, helping them to be more efficient than ever.

To protect your company from fraudulent purchases, IP.Nexus includes built-in fraud screening processes. With optional MaxMind® integration, IP.Nexus can automatically screen orders, or you can choose to manually screen them, with an efficient workflow to ease your workload. New in IP.Nexus 1.5 are Fraud Rules, which allow you to determine a rule flow to more accurately determine which orders will be reviewed or refused.

Straightforward package management
Managing your inventory is easy. Adding new products is done via a simple step-by-step wizard that allows you to configure each aspect of the package. Multiple tax levels can be configured and applied on a per-country/state/user/package basis. Shipping options can be configured based on weight, number of items or invoice total. And package renewal terms can be intricately controlled as necessary.
Invoicing in IP.Nexus is designed to be as flexible as possible. Invoice statuses are intelligent, meaning that if you change a Paid invoice to Pending or Failed, IP.Nexus remembers the exact state the customer account was in, and restores it precisely. Custom invoices can be easily created for special situations, and you can customize the header and footer of your final invoices.
Package renewal options for recurring fees
Package renewals enable you to charge ongoing fees for packages and subscriptions. IP.Nexus allows you to define how often a package renews and for how much, and you can set up multiple renewal options per package, giving users a choice.
New in IP.Nexus 1.5 is the ability to merge package renewals, so that users have one simple renewal due for all of their purchases.
Ship easily with FedEx integration
IP.Nexus integrates smoothly with FedEx Web Services, enabling users to ship and track purchases from your store with FedEx. You can set up your own rates, destinations and taxes, and tracking numbers are automatically provided to customers so they can follow the progress. IP.Nexus even creates the shipping label and proof-of-postage reciepts for you.
